Heron/Orlando Park Sportsfield
Projected schedule for the development of the Heron/Orlando Park Sportsfield Project:
Phase 1 - Two new soccer fields
Tender drawings and specifications for Phase 1 are almost finalized and will be submitted for public tender shortly.
Construction of Phase 1 will begin in late August 2008 or early Spring 2009. It is anticipated that the fields will be operational by Spring 2009.
Phase 2 - Two new multi-use fields
Phase 2 will begin immediately following completion of Phase 1. Construction of Phase 2 is expected to begin in Summer 2011 and be completed by Spring 2013.
Phase 3 - Possible gravel parking lot
If determined to be necessary by the community, the construction of the gravel parking lot could occur at any point during the project.
